General Terms and Conditions
- These General Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between the purchaser of an admission ticket and Jazz in Düsseldorf e.V. (J.i.D. e.V.) as the seller for all J.i.D. e.V. events.
- A contractual relationship arises between these two parties through the purchase of tickets.
- The ticket order alone does not constitute a contractual relationship; this only comes into being upon confirmation by J.i.D. e.V. and payment.
- Unfortunately, it is not possible to return or exchange tickets that have already been purchased:
Contracts for the provision of services in connection with leisure activities, if the contract provides for a specific date or period for the provision, are not subject to the statutory right of cancellation (Section 312g (2) sentence 1 no. 9 BGB). This means that if J.i.D. e.V. offers services in the field of leisure activities, in particular reservations/tickets for events, there is no right of cancellation. Every order for tickets is therefore binding immediately after confirmation by J.i.D. e.V. and obliges you to accept and pay for the tickets ordered.
- If you have purchased tickets at a reduced price, you are obliged to provide the organiser or the admission staff with the necessary proof of entitlement to the discount. Otherwise you may be refused admission to the event without being entitled to a refund of the ticket price.
- J.i.D. e.V. is entitled to change the event programme if this becomes necessary for good cause. Changes in this sense include, in particular, the substitution of one or more artists if the substitution becomes necessary due to circumstances for which J.i.D. e.V. is not responsible, for example because the artist is unable or unwilling to perform despite contractual obligations (e.g. due to illness).
- Should an event be cancelled completely, the seller shall refund the ticket price paid by the purchaser for this ticket. The purchase price will be refunded by bank transfer or in cash at the box office. The return period is 6 weeks.
- Should individual provisions of these General Terms and Conditions be or become invalid for legal reasons, this shall not affect the validity and legal effectiveness of the remaining provisions. In this case, the invalid provision shall be replaced by a legally valid provision that corresponds or comes as close as possible to the content of the invalid provision.
- The place of jurisdiction is Düsseldorf.
