Jam Session – Felix Ziech »Crescent«

Music with a view to the future - what Crescent does can only be roughly described as modern jazz. The compositions of band leader Felix Ziech are inspired by greats such as Lage Lund and Pat Metheny. They create a platform for the quartet of trombone, guitar, bass and drums to realise its musical potential. The four musicians move along new improvisation paths and create a musical space full of possibilities with spontaneity and joy of playing.

Every Tuesday: Jam Session at the Jazz-Schmiede. The evening always starts at 8pm with an opener concert set with different formations each week. Afterwards, from around 9pm, there is an open jam session - anyone can come and join in to jam with other musicians and the opening band. Admission is free, so the sessions are also a great opportunity to get to know the Schmiede in an uncomplicated way.
