Ornella

With her music, Cologne-based artist Ornella builds a bridge between her Latin American roots and her passion for pop and R&B. She touches listeners with a combination of warm guitar riffs, emotional lyrics and catchy vocal lines. Growing up in a Chilean family of musicians, Ornella discovered her love of music at an early age, improvising melodies and lyrics to the sounds of her father's guitar. After working exclusively as an instrumentalist and sidewoman in various bands for a long time, she finally felt the desire and courage to write her own songs and share them.
When making music, she is primarily concerned with one thing: touching and immersing herself completely in the music together with her audience. Her songs tell of self-doubt, fears, the beauty of life, courage and friendly love.
