Intakt Big Band of the VHS Düsseldorf

Intakt is the big band of the VHS Düsseldorf, which was founded in 1976 at the Clara Schumann Music School and has been under the umbrella of the Volkshochschule Düsseldorf since 2012. Since 2022, the band has been led by the young Cologne jazz trumpeter, arranger and composer David Heiß. The programme includes classical big band literature, modern big band arrangements, but also well-known jazz rock, rock and pop titles. The band's repertoire and sound will delight jazz fans as well as audiences with less of an affinity for jazz
