Motoi Kanamori is one of Japan's leading jazz bass virtuosos. His trio has been in existence for 10 years, has already released three albums and tours throughout Japan. Influenced by Paul Chambers as well as Charles Mingus, Thelonious Monk, Errol Garner and Ahmad Jamal, the trio's music has its own authentic style with exciting arrangements and many surprises.
