Jam Session - JUNO Trio + Roßmüller

Every Tuesday: Jam Session at the Jazz-Schmiede. As always, opened by an opener set, followed by an open session - anyone can come and join in.
Opener: The Cologne-based Juno Trio was founded in 2022. Inspired by Joris Roelofs, Nils Wogram and Mark Turner, the compositions are both a melodic structure and a basis for improvisation. Based on this, a flexible yet intimate sound unfolds, which is carried by the musicians' ingenuity and ability to interact. Reduced to the essentials with just bass, drums and the trombone as the melody instrument, the trio's music is subtle, exciting and always has the potential to create something new in the moment. Jan-Lukas Roßmüller will enrich the evening on the piano as a special guest.
